The Business

Artistic License Framery & Gallery has been in business since 1995. It is owned and operated by John J Wackell, artist and professional framer. The gallery showcases a distinctive collection of John's artwork along with a dynamic array of prints and posters from leading art publishers, all artfully matted and framed. Collectively they provide a springboard to help customers with their decorative needs.
Catalogs featuring thousands of images are available giving customers a myriad of choices from landscapes to seascapes, European to American artists, Renaissance to Contemporary art, illustrations to photography, from sports themes to motivational themes...and more.

The Professional Framer - His Vision

John is a graduate of the New England Framing Academy, Keene N.H. and he began this career because framing his own art "is an important component of the overall effect and integrity of my creations." In branching out, John has mastered the art of matting and framing and has delivered these to his customers - developing a reputation for quality.
